Dessert Sauce Fudgy Bars

1 cup flour

1 cup quick oats

¾ cup light brown sugar

½ tsp. baking soda

¼ tsp salt

¾ cup melted butter

½ cup sweetened, shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13” baking pan with cooking spray or grease with butter. Mix the above ingredients. Press the dough into 9 x 13” baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes.

Remove from oven.

Mix:

6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup chopped walnuts

2 tbsp. flour

1/3 cup quick oats

Sprinkle mixture over baked crust.

Remove lid from one jar of Hauser Dessert Sauce (your choice of flavor). Heat sauce in microwave until it liquefies. Drizzle evenly over chocolate chip/nut mixture.

Return to oven and bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees F. Remove from oven. Cool at room temperature for a  minimum of 30 minutes. Cut into 24 bars.
